Flavorloom Privacy Policy

Overview

Flavorloom is designed as a private, on-device culinary workspace. Flavorloom does not require an account, provide cross-device sync, use analytics or advertising SDKs, sell personal information, or build a cloud profile about you.

Information users provide

You may select ingredients, create and save palettes, and choose app preferences. These choices become local app data. Flavorloom does not ask you to create an account or provide payment details directly to Flavorloom.

Local storage

Your selected Pantry ingredient IDs, saved palettes, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Pantry records ingredient presence only, not quantities or expiration dates. Flavorloom has no account system or cross-device synchronization. Local data may be removed by deleting the app, subject to the device and Apple’s normal storage behavior.

Bundled culinary reference data

Flavorloom includes FlavorCorpus, a bundled, read-only culinary reference database. It is part of the app and is kept separate from your writable local data. Your ingredient selections, palettes, and export actions do not create, edit, or delete FlavorCorpus relationships.

On-device generated content

Flavorloom builds ingredient palettes on your device. “Why It Works” explanations are composed locally from bundled FlavorCorpus data, not Apple Foundation Models. Flavorloom does not send palette-explanation prompts to a Flavorloom server or remote model provider. Separately, natural-language palette requests from Siri or in-app corrections are first interpreted using bundled reference data. When that parsing cannot interpret a request, Flavorloom may use Apple Foundation Models on device, when available, to interpret the request using local reference lookups. The resulting palette proposal is composed from FlavorCorpus data; the model does not write “Why It Works” explanations.

Purchases and subscriptions

Apple processes Flavorloom purchases and payment details. Flavorloom does not receive your full payment-card information. The app receives limited StoreKit product, transaction, and entitlement status needed to present plans, confirm purchases or restorations, and unlock subscription access.

Support

When you contact contact@lyncis.io, support receives only the information you choose to include and any information your email provider supplies as part of sending the message. Do not include sensitive information that is not needed to answer your request.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Flavorloom’s features, data practices, or legal obligations change. The Last updated line will identify the owner-approved effective date of the current version. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate release or in-app notice when required.
