Flavorloom Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026

Overview

Flavorloom is designed as a private, on-device culinary workspace. Flavorloom does not require an account, provide cross-device sync, use analytics or advertising SDKs, sell personal information, or build a cloud profile about you.

Information users provide

You may add ingredients to your Pantry, create and save palettes, generate and save recipes, and choose app preferences. These choices become local app data. Flavorloom does not ask you to create an account or provide payment details directly to Flavorloom.

Local storage

Your Pantry, saved palettes, generated and saved recipes, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Flavorloom has no account system or cross-device synchronization. Local data may be removed by deleting the app, subject to the device and Apple’s normal storage behavior.

Bundled culinary reference data

Flavorloom includes FlavorCorpus, a bundled, read-only culinary reference database. It is part of the app and is kept separate from your writable local data. Your Pantry, palettes, recipes, and export actions do not create, edit, or delete FlavorCorpus relationships.

On-device generated content

On supported devices, recipe generation uses Apple Foundation Models on device with relevant palette and culinary-reference context. Generated recipes may be saved locally. Flavorloom does not send recipe-generation prompts to a Flavorloom server or remote model provider.

Purchases and subscriptions

Apple processes Flavorloom Plus purchases and payment details. Flavorloom does not receive your full payment-card information. The app receives limited StoreKit product, transaction, and entitlement status needed to present plans, confirm purchases or restorations, and unlock subscription access.

Export

Export My Data creates a temporary, shareable JSON file containing your writable local Flavorloom data and appearance preference; it does not include FlavorCorpus. Flavorloom removes temporary export artifacts after sharing and performs best-effort cleanup of stale export artifacts on launch. Subscription entitlements remain managed by Apple.

Support

When you contact contact@lyncis.io, support receives only the information you choose to include and any information your email provider supplies as part of sending the message. Do not include sensitive information that is not needed to answer your request.

Children

Flavorloom is not directed to children under 13. Flavorloom does not knowingly collect personal information from children through an account, analytics, advertising, or cloud-profile system because those systems are not part of the app. A parent or guardian with a concern may contact contact@lyncis.io.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Flavorloom’s features, data practices, or legal obligations change. The Last updated line will identify the owner-approved effective date of the current version. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate release or in-app notice when required.
