Ourania Privacy Policy

Overview

Ourania is designed as a privacy-first astrology app. We do not sell your personal information, use advertising SDKs, use analytics SDKs, or build a cloud profile about you.

Information you provide

You may enter birth details such as name, date, time, and place of birth so the app can create charts. This information is stored locally on your device.

Local storage

Your chart data, saved summaries, and local preferences are stored on your device. You can remove local app data in Settings under Privacy & Data by using Delete All Data, or by deleting the app from your device.

Requests for generated content

When you ask a question, Ourania sends your question text and relevant chart and transit context to its server and AI provider to generate an answer. When you request a chart summary, Ourania sends relevant chart context to generate that summary. Ourania does not store these requests on its server or use them to create a cloud profile. Your question and answer remain in your on-device history unless you delete them.

Purchases and subscriptions

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Apple may provide Ourania limited subscription status information, such as whether an entitlement is active, so the app can unlock subscribed features. Payment details are handled by Apple and are not available to Ourania.

Support

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to include in your message, such as your email address and support question. Do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the support request.

Children

Ourania is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be available in the app and through the public Privacy Policy URL provided in App Store Connect.
